Category: Garage Sale
Hello, all.
I am selling the following two laptops, whose specifications will be listed below. Since I have 4 laptops currently, and 2 desktops, I figure it's about time to down-size a little.
Laptop Number 1:
Dell Inspiron 6400
Features: Win 7 Pro 32-bit; 2 GB (max memory installed) of installed memory; 100 GB HDD; WIFI; built-in modem; built-in network port; no Bluetooth; great sound; media buttons on front for controlling music; has demo of Jaws pre-installed (buyer can specify which screen reader he or she prefers.), processor is a Core 2 Duo T7200 running at 2.00 GHZ. Display size is 15.6 inches. No built-in Bluetooth. Laptop works well; is from about 2007-8; i refurbished it. Has brand-new installed battery; new AC adapter. Battery life is averaging about 4 or more hours, depending on what you are running. Asking $160.00 for this computer. Will come with computer and charger.
Laptop Number 2: Sony VPCSE13FX/D or Sony Vaio
This Sony has tons of features including a very thin full 1080P HD display, WiDi display capable for sending audio and video to a TV (adapter for WiDi not included.), an HDMI connection, 1 3.0 USB port; 1 2.0 USB port, 1 VGA connection, built-in WIFI, built-in Bluetooth; built-in network port; built-in SD car slots (there are two different sizes.) Windows 7 64-bit pre-installed; Jaws Demo pre-installed (can install any demo of screen reader user wants.) Processor: Intel Core I5 2430M running at 2.40 GHZ; turbo boost technology up to 3.00 GHZ; 4 GB of installed memory; 640 GB HDD; DVD/CD/DVDRW/BlueRay (I think) capable. Full 100-key keyboard, including num pad. Keyboard is backlit, though this feature I currently have disabled because I cannot see the keys. Also weighs 3.4 LBS. Comes with AC adapter, and an extended sheet-like battery that clips onto the bottom. You do not need two adapters to charge this computer; you simply plug the adapter in, and both batteries are used. You can expect to get 6-10 hours, depending on what is on (WIFI or Bluetooth) for example. Asking $420.00. There are no issues with the computer, though it has been used extensively; therefore, minor scratches from normal uses are present. There is a chip on the screen cover (lower left hand corner), but that doesn't affect being able to see the display at all. Also, escape key is dented in; plus, CD drive switch is a little dented inward. This laptop was a refurbished unit when I bought it, so I assume this was used heavily. Thanks for looking.
Nathan.
